ZURICH, Switzerland, Apr 20, 2026 – ABB has updated its My Measurement Assistant+ web application to support predictive maintenance and GenAI-based diagnostics for industrial measurement devices. The update adds multilingual support and combines real-time device health data, service history, and diagnostic information in a single interface. It is designed for use across process industries, including chemicals, power, mining, and water and wastewater.
My Measurement Assistant+ runs with ABB Genix Copilot, a GenAI module built on Microsoft Foundry, developed by ABB in collaboration with Microsoft. It processes device data to generate analysis and maintenance guidance through a conversational support system. The system supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Chinese, and Portuguese, allowing engineers in different regions to access diagnostics and operational information.
Users access device data by scanning a device-specific dynamic QR code, with no software installation required. The application retrieves current device status, historical records, and diagnostic outputs. Through the ABB Genix Copilot, users can review spare parts libraries, initiate ordering processes, and receive step-by-step troubleshooting guidance. Visual Remote Support is also available, enabling technicians to connect with experts for real-time assistance without requiring on-site service.

“Our goal is to provide ABB’s industrial customers with the solutions they need to combat costly downtime, workforce skills gaps and lack of resources, as well as amplify human potential by introducing prescriptive maintenance possibilities,” said David Lincoln, digital lead at ABB’s measurement & analytics division. “In practical terms, ABB is bringing Internet of Things applications as seen in consumer appliances and devices to industrial operations, helping industries outrun – leaner and cleaner.”
“By integrating Copilot and agentic AI built on Microsoft Foundry into My Measurement Assistant+ and Genix Datalyzer, ABB is helping maintenance teams move from reactive troubleshooting to prescriptive, data-driven action,” said Dayan Rodriguez, corporate vice president, manufacturing and mobility, Microsoft. “Customers see faster issue resolution, less downtime, and greater asset reliability, turning industrial data into practical guidance for critical operations.”
ABB integrates My Measurement Assistant+ and Copilot with Genix Datalyzer to support emissions monitoring using live operational data. The platform processes data streams and generates visualizations based on observed conditions. Copilot analyzes data, responds to user queries, and provides maintenance guidance. Genix Datalyzer includes a cybersecurity dashboard that displays protection measures for connected assets and transmitted data.
ABB is demonstrating My Measurement Assistant+ and Genix Datalyzer, including their integration, from April 20-24 at Hannover Messe, at the Microsoft booth (Hall 17, Stand G06).
