BRISBANE, Australia, Feb 18, 2026 – The Australian Club Consortium (ACC) and Hexagon have launched a fully managed, cloud-hosted dispatch platform under their national technology partnership. The upgrade continues a decade of collaboration and expands cloud-managed dispatch services for roadside assistance. Built on HxGN OnCall and hosted on Microsoft Azure, the platform supports operations across all five ACC-member clubs – RACQ (Queensland), RAC (Western Australia), RAA (South Australia), RACT (Tasmania) and AANT (Northern Territory). The cloud dispatch platform provides a shared service while each club maintains operations.
“RACQ has a 100-year history of being there for our members across Queensland in their time of need,” said Glenn Toms, ACC director and deputy group CEO of RACQ. “By investing in upgrades to the next generation secure, cloud-managed geospatial dispatch platform, we can continue delivering reliable, fast, member-focused service across Queensland.”
Key features:
- Automated dispatch workflows
- 24/7 monitoring and managed support
- Real-time data sharing during peak demand and major incidents
- Mobile tools for field patrol teams
- Cybersecurity measures aligned with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards
- Integration APIs for insurers, repairers and service partners
- Australian data hosting with disaster recovery capability

“We’re proud to partner with ACC on this next phase of their transformation, delivering innovative, cloud-enabled technology built on a secure, compliant and resilient infrastructure,” said Christian Gianatti, vice president, APAC, Hexagon’s safety, infrastructure & geospatial division. “The platform brings together national coordination, local control and robust cybersecurity practices tailored to the unique needs of Australia’s motoring clubs.”
RAC general manager roadside services Tracy Hailstones added, “Investment in new technology is transforming how RAC delivers roadside assistance, making it smarter, more responsive and focused on getting our members back on the road quickly and safely, wherever they are in WA.”
“Supporting our members when they need us most is at the heart of what we do,” said RAA general manager automotive service Dorothy Nycz. “By investing in the systems behind our roadside operations through our partnership with Hexagon, we’re setting ourselves up to keep delivering nation-leading response times for our members well into the future.”
