TAOYUAN, Taiwan, Mar 3, 2026 – ADLINK Technology has launched two new PXI Express products, the PXIe-9908 Source Measurement Unit and the PXES-2596 PXI Express chassis. The systems support precision measurement and scalable test architectures for semiconductor, electronics, optoelectronic component validation and testing. The PXIe-9908 enables electrical characterization, while the PXES-2596 provides a platform for modular PXI integration in production and lab environments.
“Modern automated test systems require both precision at the measurement level and scalability at the system level”, said Andy Tseng, senior manager, product division at ADLINK Technology. “With the PXIe-9908 and PXES-2596, we are enabling customers to build flexible PXI platforms that scale efficiently from validation to high-volume production.”
The PXIe-9908 provides 8-channel, four-quadrant voltage and current sourcing for device characterization, IC testing and reliability validation. The SMU supports update rates up to 100 kS/s and sampling to 1 M samples/s, with specifications to detect low-level signals in semiconductor and low-power electronics testing.
The PXES-2596 PXI Express chassis offers 9- or 12-slot configurations with a Gen3 PXI Express backplane for multi-module test systems. ADLINK also provides a backplane-only version with pre-installed heat sinks, thermal sensors and fan-curve support for customer-built systems. The platform is designed for ODMs and system integrators developing custom mechanical and thermal solutions.
The new PXI Express platforms address system integration, synchronized measurement and test architectures. ADLINK is positioning the products for semiconductor and industrial test applications that use flexible configurations in development environments.
