MUNICH, Germany, June 17, 2026 – SDS2 is entering the German market as ALLPLAN’s steel detailing and fabrication platform for BIM-based modeling, connection design, and fabrication workflows. The software, already used in North America, is aimed at steel structural engineers, fabricators, and engineering firms.

Connections are generated from the component layout and updated as the model changes. Those changes are reflected in drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and production data. The platform also supports simultaneous work by multiple users on the same project.
