Altera Names Nishit Sahay Chief Information Officer

The former Marvell CIO will lead global technology strategy, with responsibility for cybersecurity, data use and enterprise AI.

SAN JOSE, CA, Oct 5, 2026 – Altera has appointed Nishit Sahay chief information officer to lead its global technology strategy and IT organization. His priorities include cybersecurity, use of data and enterprise AI.

Sahay joins from Marvell Technology, where he served as senior vice president and chief information officer. He led Marvell’s corporate IT organization, Data Office and enterprise AI initiatives. His experience includes modernizing enterprise technology, improving business processes and integrating technology systems.
