AONDevices, H&S HighTech Partner on Low-Power Edge AI

by | Jul 3, 2025

The partnership focuses on driving low-power edge AI for electronics and IoT applications. The collaboration combines technical capabilities and distribution networks to support the deployment of always-on, energy-efficient devices across global industries.

IRVINE, CA and DAEJEON, South Korea, July 3, 2025 – AONDevices and H&S HighTech have formed a partnership to expand the use of low-power AI technologies in edge devices. Under the agreement, H&S HighTech has invested in AONDevices and will serve as its preferred distributor in South Korea and selected international markets. The partnership combines AONDevices’ technical expertise in AI processors with H&S HighTech’s regional distribution and customer network to expand the availability of AI solutions in electronics and IoT applications.

Smarter Devices, Powered by Always-On, Super-Low-Power AI

Demand for built-in, always-on intelligence is growing in smart remotes, fitness trackers, connected medical tools and industrial sensors. Yet, many chips cannot keep up with real-time tasks without draining the battery fast. AONDevices makes AI chips that use less than a milliwatt of power, so devices can run nonstop while keeping energy use low. These chips handle real-time processing well, which suits products that run on batteries and must respond quickly at all times.

Target Devices and Markets

  • Consumer & Personal Electronics: TV remotes, headsets, smart home appliances, wearables, and security systems
  • Mobility, Health & Industrial Monitoring: Automotive systems, industrial sensors, and connected health monitors

Always-On Edge AI Example Use Cases Include:

  • Wake word and voice command recognition
  • Acoustic event and scene detection (AED/ASD)
  • Gesture and activity recognition
  • Environmental sensing and contextual awareness
  • Speaker identification
  • Multi-modal sensor fusion

Flexible, Future-Ready AI Architecture

The AONDevices platform supports edge uses that need prompt response, low power use, and privacy. It works with both offline setups and systems that mix local and cloud processing. The design keeps devices running securely even on a single battery charge.

“This partnership with H&S HighTech marks a significant step in AONDevices’ global growth strategy,” said Mouna Elkhatib, CEO of AONDevices. “We’re excited to combine our cutting-edge always-on edge AI technology with H&S HighTech’s market strength to deliver smarter, more efficient devices to customers worldwide.”

“We believe AONDevices is redefining what’s possible with always-on edge AI,” said Kim Jung-hee, CEO of H&S HighTech. “Their ultra-low-power capabilities are exactly what our customers need to enable intelligent, next-generation devices across industries.”
