ANDOVER, MA, Feb 26, 2026 – Aras has introduced new services built on Aras InnovatorEdge to deliver secure access to PLM data and workflows across the value chain. The services support scalable adoption of agentic AI while maintaining controlled data governance. The release addresses product lifecycle management (PLM) needs across distributed teams and partners.
Aras Innovator gains cloud-based governance and API tools through Edge, connecting digital threads to external users, applications, developers and AI resources. Edge controls access to product data across systems while maintaining traceability, user permissions and business context.
The new Edge services simplify and accelerate how Aras Innovator connects to new users and cloud resources:
- Aras InnovatorEdge API Manager (Edge API): A cloud-based, low-code service that defines and manages secure APIs exposing Aras Innovator data and digital thread services to external applications.
- Aras InnovatorEdge App Builder (Edge Builder): A SaaS development environment for building, hosting and publishing lightweight, task-based apps that consume Edge APIs.
- Aras InnovatorEdge AI (Edge AI): A suite of services for building, deploying and governing agentic workflows and AI services across the Aras Innovator PLM ecosystem.
