
REYKJAVÍK, Iceland, June 5, 2025 – atNorth has announced the appointment of Janne Sigurdsson as chief sustainability and compliance officer. With a background in strategy and management, Janne will ensure that atNorth’s sustainability, security, compliance, IT and business process management initiatives receive executive level direction.
As atNorth expands to meet growing demand for sustainable infrastructure, the company remains focused on maintaining strong security, governance, and environmental practices. Janne’s background in global supply chain and operations will support the integration of these priorities into the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Prior to joining atNorth, Janne spent 8 years at Marel, a global provider of advanced food processing solutions, as vice president of supply chain. She has also held key positions, including global CIO and managing director, Iceland, at aluminum production business Alcoa Inc. Janne holds a master’s degree in mathematics and computer science.
