COVENTRY, UK, Sep 24, 2026 – Aurrigo International has expanded manufacturing operations in Coventry following a £6.28 million contract to design and build 25 vehicles. The Ultra Global order prompted its move to a 130,615-square-foot facility at Green Power Park.
Aurrigo describes the contract as the largest single order in its 33-year history. The facility is now operational and will house engineering, autonomous vehicle development, manufacturing and existing automotive work.
Group revenue rose 19% to £4.2 million in the first six months of 2026, driven by increased automotive activity. Aurrigo also reported progress across its current autonomous projects. The company secured a £4.5 million, three-year framework agreement to supply electrical systems for a new UK supercar program.

With our expanded manufacturing facility now operational, contracted programs progressing and a more mature autonomous pipeline, we enter the second half with confidence in our growth prospects.”
Airport Operations and International Expansion
Aurrigo is continuing its international hub and licensing program. It seeks local partners, funding and manufacturing support in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the United States.
The company appointed Mark Gower as director of global airport operations earlier this year. It also received a license to provide ground handling services at East Midlands Airport, supporting ground service equipment deployment.
David continued: “The group continues to make excellent progress across its contracted programs and wider autonomous pipeline, with several opportunities expected to reach key decisions around the end of 2026.”
“£1.43m Government grant funding was awarded to us for the deployment of Auto-Shuttle vehicles in autonomous safety and inspection roles at UK airports and that will drive other opportunities.”
“We have also started to see early-stage interest in applying our engineering capability to adjacent sectors beyond automotive and aviation. For instance, we have just signed our first defense contract for the supply of electrical systems for unmanned vehicles.”
