Autodesk has been recognized on the Forbes Net Zero Leaders List for 2025, securing the #38 spot among 200 leading companies worldwide. This honor highlights Autodesk’s focus on sustainability and its progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions across its operations, supply chain, and customer activities.

Forbes, partnering with Sustainalytics and Morningstar, evaluated about 15,000 companies for the list. The assessment considered emissions management, risk controls, governance, financial resilience, and readiness to achieve net-zero targets by 2050. Autodesk’s performance in these areas contributed to its ranking among top global businesses.

Autodesk details its sustainability journey in its annual Impact Report, which reports milestones such as sourcing 100% renewable electricity for all company facilities, co-located data centers, cloud services, and employee operations. Other initiatives include partnering with the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, joining over 50 organizations in the “Sustainability Tech Partner Program”, and expanding design insights through Autodesk Forma, giving architects tools to improve environmental efficiency.

The company’s innovation in sustainability extends to technology. Launches like Autodesk AI are designed to support sustainable results across sectors. Autodesk continues to invest in its platform approach with Forma for architecture, engineering, and construction, Fusion for manufacturing, and Flow for media and entertainment, providing users with tools to reduce environmental impact.

“This recognition from Forbes is great validation for all the work we do at Autodesk to deliver on our vision: a better world, designed and made for all,” said Joe Speicher, chief sustainability officer at Autodesk. “It’s a direct reflection of the dedication, innovation and cross-functional collaboration happening across our business and truly a One Autodesk effort. Sustainability is embedded into our operations, our solutions and the way we serve our customers and industries. This recognition belongs to all of you – and we should all be grateful for this great work.”

Autodesk’s placement on the Forbes Net Zero Leaders List reflects its progress in sustainability and emissions reduction. The recognition also signals an industry shift toward climate-related goals and practices.
