Autodesk Names Shelly Blackburn SVP, Global Sales

The former Azure leader will oversee worldwide sales operations and platform-product adoption.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Sep 3, 2026 – Autodesk has hired Shelly Blackburn as senior vice president, global sales. Blackburn takes charge of the company’s global sales organization. Her career in sales and go-to-market roles spans more than 25 years.

Blackburn spent her most recent years at Microsoft as corporate vice president for the Azure Infrastructure and Digital Applications business. She joined Microsoft after more than two decades at Cisco Systems, where she ran the global cybersecurity commercial sales business.

At Autodesk, Blackburn will focus on consolidating customers’ fragmented digital environments and increasing adoption of the company’s platform-based products.
