SANTA CLARA, CA, Nov 12, 2025 – Baya Systems opened its first European office in the U.K., expanding its presence in Europe’s semiconductor industry and strengthening partnerships in AI, data centers, infrastructure, and high-performance computing (HPC) domains.

The new Cambridge office will serve as Baya Systems’ regional headquarters and collaboration hub, supporting engagement with customers, research institutions, and partners developing chiplet-based, AI-optimized systems. Europe’s semiconductor industry continues to grow, supported by EU Chips Act, the European Processor Initiative, and U.K. semiconductor investment programs. The new office enables Baya Systems to participate in these initiatives and access technical talent in the U.K. to strengthen its team.

Dr. Sailesh Kumar, CEO and founder of Baya Systems, added: “Cambridge’s long history as a computing innovation haven makes it a perfect fit for our next chapter. This new office continues our strategy of growing through proximity to our customers, partners and global innovation centers shaping the future of computing. The U.K.’s exceptional talent and thriving AI and semiconductor ecosystem make it the ideal hub for expanding European operations.”

Baya’s Growing Footprint

The Cambridge office joins Baya Systems’ network of design centers in Santa Clara, Austin, and Bengaluru, India. With engineering and commercial staff based in the U.K. and plans to add more across Europe, the site connects talent and customers across North America, Europe, and Asia. Baya’s workforce also extends to Canada, Japan, and Israel, supporting its design and development operations.

The U.K. office will serve as a center for co-development with partners such as Semidynamics, focusing on open, modular, and scalable system architectures. These efforts build on Baya Systems’ expertise in software-defined, chiplet-ready fabric for AI acceleration and networking across Arm and RISC-V platforms.
