
SANTA CLARA, CA, Aug 26, 2026 – Baya Systems is expanding into Japan, adding technical and field resources to work with Japanese semiconductor companies, foundries and technology firms building AI, HPC, automotive and chiplet-based systems. The expansion comes as Japan increases investment in advanced manufacturing and AI infrastructure. As part of the move, Baya is collaborating with Tenstorrent on a test chip currently in development that incorporates its WeaveIP fabric IP.
Baya’s system IP supports the design of chip and chiplet-based systems across those same markets, including SoC architectures.

The test chip is intended to demonstrate software-defined data movement for AI and compute architectures. Tenstorrent is incorporating WeaveIP into its chiplet solutions, including systems built around TT-Ascalon, its RISC-V CPU, and Tensix Neo, its AI accelerator IP.
