TORONTO, Canada and SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Sep 22, 2026 – Beacon Software has acquired Haize Labs to develop shared AI infrastructure and test AI agents across its software businesses. The Haize team will form Beacon’s Applied AI Research Group, covering evaluation, testing and monitoring.
Haize co-founder and CEO Leonard Tang will join Beacon as vice president of AI research. He will lead the AI operating system deployed across Beacon’s companies.
The research group will build reusable AI infrastructure that accommodates each company’s business context. It will translate industry expertise into evaluation and feedback systems that define performance requirements for each business. Continuous testing and monitoring will cover AI agents before and after deployment. The group also plans to develop AI products to reduce administrative work, improve customer service and support business growth.
