ST. LOUIS, MO, Aug 3, 2026 – Belden has received Emerson’s 2025–26 Supplier Sustainability Award following an evaluation of its emissions performance, governance, reporting and supply chain execution.

Belden has participated in Emerson’s Responsible Sourcing Program since 2024. The recognition was based on Belden’s performance across:

  • Emissions performance and sustainability improvements
  • Governance and transparency, including reporting and communication of progress over time
  • Supply chain execution, reinforcing that sustainability is embedded into operations and not treated as a side initiative

“Emerson sets a high bar for sustainability performance across its supply base, and this recognition is meaningful because it reflects verified, measurable progress,” said Brian Anderson, chief legal & risk officer at Belden and chair of the company’s Sustainability Steering Committee. “It signals that Belden is not only meeting expectations – we are distinguishing ourselves through consistent execution. We’re not just stating commitments; we’re turning progress into proof in a way customers can see, track and value.”

“Since launching our inaugural Supplier Sustainability Awards in 2024, we have been thrilled to see the engagement from our suppliers and to benchmark their performance according to Responsible Sourcing Policy supplier expectations,” said Ming Zu, vice president of supply chain and global distribution at Emerson. “We congratulate Belden on being recognized for their ongoing commitment and accountability to internal sustainability governance and meeting standard supply chain expectations on quality, on-time delivery, lead time and cost.”
