Benchmark Names FormFactor CEO Michael Slessor to Board

Appoints semiconductor industry executive with board and leadership experience to strengthen governance and support technology strategy in electronics manufacturing and product development sectors

TEMPE, AZ, Oct 8, 2025 – Benchmark Electronics has appointed Dr. Michael Slessor to its board of directors. Dr. Slessor has more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He is the CEO of FormFactor, a position he assumed after the company acquired MicroProbe in 2012, where he also served as CEO. Before joining FormFactor, he held leadership roles at KLA Corporation. Dr. Slessor led the acquisition and integration of Cascade Microtech. He holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Physics from the California Institute of Technology and a BASc in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia.
