AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, (Bentley Systems’ Year in Infrastructure 2025), Oct 16, 2025 – Bentley Systems has introduced Bentley Infrastructure Cloud Connect, a new foundational layer for Bentley Infrastructure Cloud. The platform creates a connected data environment that links project and asset data, helping infrastructure professionals collaborate across the infrastructure lifecycle and value chain.

“Infrastructure data lives everywhere – in models, PDFs, inspection forms, photos, IoT sensors, and more – and it’s rarely connected,” said Julien Moutte, chief technology officer, Bentley Systems. “That changes with Bentley Infrastructure Cloud Connect. Infrastructure professionals can access and manage all project and asset data in one place – fully contextualized and connected – from design through construction to operations.”

Connect allows users to explore their project portfolio in a geospatial context. It allows them to examine project and asset details, collaborate, monitor progress, and identify issues within a single environment.

“Bentley Infrastructure Cloud’s unified environment helps our project stakeholders quickly and clearly understand the impact of design decisions during constructability reviews,” said Andy Kaiyala, vice president of digital construction management (DCM) at WSB. “With curated views of 72 projects now accessible to over 900 external stakeholders from 86 organizations, it’s become a key differentiator for us – helping project teams avoid costly missteps and save millions in potential rework.”

Connect provides a secure workspace for engineering firms, construction companies, and owner-operators to store and manage infrastructure files and data. It uses Bentley’s iTwin platform to process data from more than 50 file formats and link with enterprise systems. The platform combines engineering, operational, enterprise, geospatial, and subsurface data into digital twins of existing or planned assets within their built and natural environments.

Connect enables collaboration across infrastructure teams. Users can view and share project data, add feedback and markups, manage deliverables and communication with clients and suppliers. It supports both file-based collaboration and data-driven workflows.

Connect also features a unified web interface for viewing infrastructure data in a geospatial context, powered by Bentley’s Cesium 3D technology. A mobile app assists users access project and maintenance workflows from any location.

Connect serves as the entry point to Bentley Infrastructure Cloud. Users can progress to ProjectWise for design and construction workflows, and AssetWise for asset operations and maintenance.

Connect will become available in Dec’ 2025.
