PASADENA, CA, Dec 11, 2025 – Bluebeam released updates that connect office and field teams through new workflow tools. The release adds Task Link, which integrates Bluebeam Revu with GoCanvas, and includes improvements to Bluebeam’s iOS and Android apps. The updates support task tracking, real-time project visibility, and organized documentation across all project phases.

Task Link: Closing the Gap Between Planning and Execution

Bluebeam and GoCanvas are moving toward a unified field–office workflow, with Task Link serving as the first step. Task Link connects Bluebeam’s markup and collaboration features with GoCanvas’ field data collection to help construction teams with a workflow to reduce communication gaps, minimize errors, and gain project visibility.

What teams can do with Task Link:

  • Push tasks from Revu to the field, with updates reflected in real time.
  • Keep teams aligned through automatic notifications.
  • Capture verifiable on-site data via GoCanvas mobile forms – including photos, videos, signatures, and inputs.
  • Maintain a single source of truth with all submissions linked to Revu markups.

“Task Link represents the next step in our commitment to interoperability and connected workflows between the office and the field,” said Luke Prescott, head of product at Bluebeam. “By tying Revu’s markup ecosystem to GoCanvas’ digital field data collection, we’re eliminating friction, strengthening accountability, and giving teams a faster, more collaborative way of working.”

Task Link is available to all Bluebeam subscribers with an active GoCanvas subscription.

Mobile Updates: Real-Time Tools for Smarter Decisions

Bluebeam is expanding field capabilities by integrating new mobile features with Studio. The updates support verification, markup, and information sharing in both online and offline conditions, helping teams reduce rework and keep documentation current.

For iOS users:

  • Measurement tools (length, area, polylength, count) for on-the-spot verification.
  • Basic PDF form filling  in-app to complete checklists and project documents from the field.
  • Offline access to Studio Projects for updating project documents on remote jobsites.

For Android users:

  • Image markups on drawings for visual clarity.
  • Precision pen-eraser for cleaner edits without restarting.
  • Local PDF support, enabling easy document access and editing anytime, anywhere.

Together, the updates lay groundwork for data-driven construction workflows, improving how information moves across tools, teams and project stages.
