GREEN BAY, WI, Sep 3, 2025 – At Labelexpo Europe 2025, Sep 16–19 in Barcelona, BW Converting will feature four Baldwin systems at Booth 4G42 under the theme “Treat. Cure. Clean. Inspect.” The demos will focus on efficiency, sustainability and print quality.

Featured will be the Corona Pure and Corona SlimLine surface treatment systems, the Unity LED curing platform, the Film Cylinder Cleaner, the Guardian PQV 100% Inspection solution and the Defender View and Defender 100% Inspection solution. Together, these technologies give converters the tools to handle substrates, reduce waste and improve throughput across narrow and mid-web applications.

These technologies address current converter challenges, including labor constraints, stricter sustainability requirements, and rising expectations for defect-free products. The Corona Pure and Corona SlimLine improve ink and coating adhesion on challenging substrates. The Unity LED system provides LED UV curing with lower energy use and a compact design. The Film Cylinder Cleaner enables contact-free cleaning of cast and chill cylinders to improve film clarity and reduce cleaning-related downtime. The Guardian PQV 4.0 enables automated setup, defect detection, and workflow-integrated inspection to maintain quality control with fewer operator actions. The Defender platform combines web viewing and 100% inspection to provide high-resolution defect detection and viewing for wide-web lines.

“Narrow to mid-web converters are under pressure to do more with less, and BW Converting’s Baldwin technologies are designed to support that shift,” said Jonathan Fore, senior director, product management and strategic marketing, BW Converting. “From improving ink adhesion and curing efficiency to enhancing inspection accuracy and reducing manual cleaning, we’re delivering solutions that drive measurable impact on the production floor.”
