
CADSoftTools has released ABViewer 16.1, expanding G-code generation, improving editing tools, and enhancing file import and conversion performance for CAD workflows. The update focuses on improving how users work with CAD files while refining overall system performance.

- 2D improvements:
- Improved import of DWG, DXF, and SVG formats.
- Improved export to DWG and DXF formats.
- 3D Enhancements:
- Improved import of SLDPRT and SLDASM formats.
- Optimization of the algorithm for calculating minimum dimensions.
- Improved PDF to DWG/DXF conversion.
- Improved G-code generation:
- Added support for generating G-code compatible with EDM machines.
- Added support for G80-G84 drill commands
