CADSoftTools Releases CAD .NET 16.1 for CAD Development

Release updates CADLayout print settings, adds block tools, and expands undo and redo support across the Object Inspector and APIs

CADSoftTools has released CAD .NET 16.1, an update to its .NET library for CAD application development. The release supports viewing, editing, and entity handling for CAD files within .NET applications. The update adds changes to layout management, block creation tools, and undo and redo operations, while refreshing demo projects and development tools.

What is new in CAD .NET 16.1:

  • New class for managing CADLayout print settings: CADImport.sgPlotSettingsData
  • Update all APIs for storing bitmaps using a matrix
  • Updated demo projects: ViewerDemo, EditorDemo, AddEntities, AspNetBlazorDemo
  • Added support for the Explode function for CADASIC in the ExplodeTool
  • New tools for inserting and creating blocks (PasteBlockTool and CreateBlockTool classes)
  • Improved undo/redo operations:
    • Added support for undo/redo in the Object Inspector (class CADPropertyGrid)
    • Added a delegate description for undo/redo operations. Option to add description using the OnAddUndoObjOperation/OnAddRedoObjOperation delegates in a CADImage instance
  • Display problems with CADMText fixed
  • Fixed alignment point of CADText
  • Added support for alignment and scaling of CADText in the Object Inspector
  • Fixed recalculation of the CADInsert box after moving an attribute
  • Bug fixes

The update is available to users of CAD .NET 16, while earlier versions can upgrade to version 16.1.
