Carfulan Group turned MACH into a sales pipeline for metrology, tooling control and additive manufacturing systems, signing deals with brands like Metrios, OGP, VICIVISION and ZOLLER while recording 1,810 enquiries during the five-day industrial show.
The company’s technical teams worked with new and existing customers on measurement speed, inspection flexibility, tool control, tooling consistency and large-scale component inspection. Several enquiries are now moving toward site visits or live demonstrations at Carfulan Group’s innovation center in Derbyshire.
“We went to MACH with our biggest ever showcase of technologies that help manufacturers reduce set-up times, achieve greater accuracy and support new products to get to market quicker,” explained Chris Fulton, managing director of Carfulan Group.
“There was three UK ‘firsts’ and two ‘show’ debuts and this saw us attract the biggest footfall in our history. The appetite for embracing new technology to boost productivity was evident and, despite a challenging political and economic environment, firms are still keen to invest if they can achieve efficiency gains. That’s exactly what we are giving them.”
He continued: “With the leads we’re progressing, I’m confident we’ll secure over £3m of new business as a result of attending the UK’s largest industrial show and we are already planning to be at MACH 2028.”
“For companies who couldn’t visit, we’re offering an open invite to visit our Advanced Innovation Centre and get a live demonstration of any of our latest solutions. In some instances, we can even test our technology on existing products that are causing them issues.”
Carfulan Group placed the new M-Series from OGP UK at the center of its MACH display. The multi-sensor metrology range includes the M50 system, which uses the Intellicentric-M optical system for high-accuracy inspection of complex, multi-feature components.
The Carfulan group also demonstrated the Metrios 332 shopfloor measurement system and VICIVISION’s Techno 918 turned part inspection system. Visitors saw the Techno 918 configured with a conical laser and scanning probe setup for turned part measurement.

Chris added: “We also gave MACH debuts to two ZOLLER systems – the Tool Balancer and ToolStation, each designed to bring greater control and consistency to tooling processes.”
“Additive manufacturing continues to expand its boundaries, and, as a result, we received over 250 enquiries for SYS Systems, with a large proportion being to explore the power of The Origin Two and Fortus 450 Gen 3.”
He concluded: “Visitors were really interested in how these solutions can provide flexible, durable end-use parts and a variety of jigs and fixtures that can be manufactured in low to medium volumes. Interest came from companies involved in advanced manufacturing, automotive, medical and construction.”
