MONTREAL, Canada, Feb 6, 2026 – CM Labs Simulations has launched the Intellia Workforce Training System, a platform designed to manage and scale simulation-based operator training for construction firms. The company said the system addresses fragmented training tools that limit consistency and visibility into operator performance.

A System Approach to Simulation-Based Training

The Intellia Workforce Training System manages the simulation training lifecycle, with functions for multiple roles across a training organization:

  • Training Curriculum: CM Labs pairs simulator-based training with web-based instruction to cover both hands-on skills and theory. Built on its physics-based heavy equipment simulation library, the system provides operators with a repeatable path to proficiency based on realistic machine behavior and jobsite conditions.
  • Training Management Tools: One system manages curriculum, tracks performance, and generates reports. As programs expand, it supports real-time coaching and tailored instruction while maintaining oversight without added manual tracking or administrative work.
  • Simulation Hardware and Auxiliary Stations: Training hardware mirrors real jobsite equipment and crew roles, supporting both basic and fully immersive environments. The setup allows programs to scale across different machines and configurations while keeping skills instruction and performance evaluation consistent.

“Construction training teams are being asked to do more to solve the labor shortage with less, without compromising safety or training quality,” said Lisa Barbieri, vice president of marketing and strategic relationships at CM Labs. “The Intellia Workforce Training System brings structure, visibility, and consistency to operator training, helping organizations reduce risk and scale their programs with confidence.”

AI Integrated Into the Training Workflow

CM Labs has added an AI Assistant to the Intellia Workforce Training System to support instructors as training programs scale. The feature launches with the Tracked Excavator simulation curriculum and will be demonstrated at CONEXPO. During training sessions, it answers questions on exercises, objectives, and system use, providing real-time support within the training environment. By handling routine queries, the AI Assistant reduces manual workload and allows instructors to focus on coaching and performance evaluation.

Designed for Workforce Development at Scale

CM Labs positions the Intellia Workforce Training System as a platform for organizations expanding simulation-based training programs. The system brings together curriculum, training management, simulators, and AI-assisted support to standardize instruction and track outcomes.

CM Labs will show live demonstrations of the system and its AI-assisted features at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas (booth N11839).
