REHOVOT, Israel, Sep 8, 2026 – CollPlant has closed its acquisition of LightSolver whose Laser Processing Unit (LPU) targets high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. The deal moves CollPlant into the photonics and HPC sectors, alongside its existing regenerative medicine business. LightSolver plans to use the acquisition funding to commercialize the LPU.
“We are pleased to complete this transaction with LightSolver, marking CollPlant’s entry into the photonics computing sector,” said Yehiel Tal, chairperson and chief executive officer of CollPlant. “This exciting new field of activity will run alongside our continued and active operations in regenerative medicine.”

At closing, CollPlant invested $5 million in LightSolver. Additional warrants become exercisable if LightSolver meets specified technological and commercial objectives.
CollPlant first announced the definitive agreement Aug. 31, 2026, and filed a Form 6-K detailing the transaction with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission the same day.
