
GRUGLIASCO, Italy, Feb 12, 2026 – Comau introduced MATE-XT GO, a wearable exoskeleton that supports workers’ arms and shoulders during repetitive and overhead tasks. The product weighs less than 3 kg. The MATE-XT GO can be donned in about 30 seconds and removed in about 10 seconds, helping teams add it to daily work with minimal disruption.
Comau says MATE-XT GO is certified as category II personal protective equipment* for regulated work environments. That certification supports use in regulated settings. Comau says the wearable exoskeleton can reduce muscle and perceived effort by up to 50%. It supports posture, comfort and endurance without restricting natural movement. Comau targets it for industry, logistics, construction, agriculture and skilled trades. In addition, the company positions it for large enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), including artisans.
Comau said its MATE-XT GO wearable exoskeleton expands its Italy-made MATE line with a lighter, passive design. The device is intended to support workers while preserving range of motion for extended use during shifts. Because it is fully passive, MATE-XT GO does not require a power supply and requires limited upkeep, which can reduce operating costs over time. Comau designed the MATE-XT GO with IUVO, pairing it’s industrial automation background with IUVO’s work in wearable technology and biomechanics.
