Concepts NREC Names Antoine Corbeil VP of Engineering

A new engineering leader with 20 years in turbomachinery will guide projects in aerospace, energy, space, and defense. The role centers on design, customer needs, and practical solutions that deliver measurable results.

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT, Aug 19, 2025 – Concepts NREC has appointed Antoine Corbeil as vice president of engineering. He will oversee engineering strategy, drive projects, and support development of turbomachinery solutions. With more than 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering and turbomachinery research, he brings expertise in high-performance rotating machinery. He is a design engineer for gas-turbines with experience in both axial and radial engines. He has also been involved in R&D efforts for compact heat-exchangers and Brayton-cycle renewable energy efforts.

As a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and with a M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Mr. Corbeil has held technical and leadership roles, contributing to product development, customer success, and organizational growth. Prior to joining Concepts NREC, Mr. Corbeil worked at Brayton Energy, including president of its Canadian division for more than five years. He also spent over 15 years with Ingersoll-Rand, Bombardier Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney Canada.

As vice president of engineering, Corbeil will lead a team who deal with design, analysis, and testing services for products in the aerospace, renewable energy, space, and defense sectors.
