LIVINGSTON, NJ and MUMBAI, India, Oct 8, 2026 – CoreWeave plans to establish 240 MW of data center capacity in Navi Mumbai through a collaboration with AdaniConneX, making its entry into India. The company intends to deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform on its AI Cloud for training, inference, reasoning and agentic workloads.
The project will occupy three 80 MW buildings at AdaniConneX’s Taloja campus, with CoreWeave as the sole tenant. The facilities are being designed for high-density AI computing, with direct liquid cooling for GPU data halls and a non-evaporative chilled water system. The design will accommodate future generations of AI computing.
“India has the talent, developers, and ambition to become a major center of AI innovation,” said Sachin Jain, chief operating officer of CoreWeave. “We are investing in the infrastructure, technology, and local presence needed to support that growth, bringing 240 megawatts of capacity, NVIDIA Vera Rubin, and CoreWeave’s expertise to customers building and scaling AI in India.”
The investment supports India’s national AI ambitions, including the IndiaAI Mission, and the country’s growing role as a destination for data center investment.
CoreWeave also plans to establish an office and hire locally to work with customers and partners across India. The company investments support the country’s AI development plans, including the IndiaAI Mission. The expansion follows CoreWeave’s entry into Indonesia and builds on its presence across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
The first phase of the Taloja project is expected to become available in mid-2028, with additional capacity coming online in stages. CoreWeave could double the planned capacity through an expansion of up to another 240 MW at the campus.
