QUÉBEC, Canada, Nov 19, 2025 – Creaform opened two service centers that provide ISO 17025 accreditation for its EVO, BLACK, and MAX of the HandySCAN 3D series. The centers in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, and Exton, PA, let customers in the US and Mexico obtain certified calibration locally, reducing shipping delays and downtime.
“The launch of this new service is a major step forward in making certified calibration more accessible to our customers,” said David Gagné, vice-president of operations and customer services. “It reinforces our dedication to delivering localized, high-quality support and our focus on going beyond expectations to deliver the ultimate customer experience.”
With 17 service centers and 4 repair centers worldwide, Creaform expands its footprint globally. The deployment timeline includes:
- End of 2025: US and Mexico service centers begin performing calibration for the HandySCAN 3D EVO, BLACK, and MAX Series, under the Creaform ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Early 2026: Global deployment of ISO 17025 calibration for the HandySCAN 3D EVO, BLACK, and MAX Series to most global service centers.
- Mid-2026: Expansion of the ISO 17025 calibration service to include MetraSCAN 3D and HandyPROBE.
- Fall 2026: On-site calibration available for R-Series customers and key accounts.
In addition to the new service centers, Creaform is also introducing the Performance Check Kit, an accessory to verify system performance. Integrated into Creaform.OS, this user-friendly kit enables users to:
- Perform system checks without sending equipment back.
- Generate performance reports.
- Receive calibration certificates through self-certification (non-ISO 17025).
- Prevent any downtime while supporting continuous operations.
These developments also align with updates to Creaform’s customer care plans, including the addition of remote health checks and calibration options to suit customer needs.
