LAS VEGAS, NV (CES 2026), Jan 13, 2026 – Doosan Robotics presented new robotics developments, highlighting its Scan & Go Autonomous Robotic Solution. The AI-based system, winner of two 2026 CES Innovation Awards, including Best of Innovation in the AI category, targets large-scale composite repair by generating tool paths from laser-based 3D vision data without CAD models or manual programming.

The system mounts on an autonomous forklift to perform sanding, grinding, and inspection on irregular structures. Applications include aircraft fuselages, wind turbine blades, and architectural façades, with minimal setup required to support production efficiency, labor reduction, and quality control.

Doosan Robotics is developing the solution with Maple Advanced Robotics Inc. (MARI), a Canada-based robotics and automation company. MARI focuses on building AI-driven robotic platforms for industrial applications.

Doosan Robotics demonstrated an AI-based depalletizing system that used NVIDIA cuMotion for real-time motion planning for automated material handling. The system combined 3D vision, text recognition, obstacle avoidance, and automatic path generation to identify boxes and execute optimized depalletizing motions in logistics operations.

Doosan Robotics combines robot hardware, control software, and AI functions into one integrated system. The approach enables AI-based automation to optimize workflows and task sequencing, reducing operation time.

“We’re moving into the next phase of the company as we provide the very best solutions to increase efficiencies and safety across various worksites.” stated Kevin Kim, CEO, Doosan Robotics. “We’re delivering a scalable portfolio of best-in-class robotic solutions to the market, enabled through strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as NVIDIA, addressing challenges across multiple industries.”
