LIMASSOL, Cyprus, Aug 6, 2025 – The ENCY 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 updates introduce enhancements to streamline programming workflows and improve reliability in mission-critical operations.
STL Support for Projection
STL models can serve as projection surfaces during painting operations. A simplified surface model is created and assigned as the machined surface for toolpath calculations. This model sets the machine axis orientation, while the tool tracks the shape of the original STL geometry. This approach allows efficient motion along surface normal in areas where precise geometry is not required.
Spindle Synchronization for Part-off with Takeover
A new parameter, “Grip RPM,” has been added to the Part-off with Takeover operation. The system matches the main spindle speed with the sub spindle speed during engage and part picking. This value is sent to CLData to ensure proper postprocessor operation.

Starting Point in Scallop operation
The “Starting Point” parameter is available in the Scallop operation for flexible toolpath control.

New Parameter in Reports
Expert mode in the machining report generation window includes the operation name for hole machining lists.

Usability Improvements
- Updated smart hints for adaptive strategy, tool orientation, and axial stock settings – clarity with fewer questions.
- The algorithm for matching coaxial tools in main and counter spindles on Swiss-type machines has been improved.
- Hints for the “Adaptive Feedrate” parameter have been updated.
- If the Zmin parameter is selected by default or by feature in the properties window, shaped tool geometry cannot be enabled to prevent errors and gouging. It can only be enabled when Zmin is selected by model.

Fixes
The updates correct issues affecting system stability and performance. These include fixes for interface inconsistencies, simulation errors, and crashes when opening projects or using multi-project mode. Errors in complex operations, such as impeller machining, have been addressed. The update also improves CLData editing, toolpath simulation, report generation, and handling of corrupted geometry files.
