OLATHE, KS, Apr 21, 2026 – Garmin opened entries for its 2026 Garmin Health Awards, which will take place in Bangkok during the Garmin Health Summit on Oct. 28-29, 2026. The annual program recognizes how organizations apply Garmin technology, data integration, and third-party digital health solutions.

Jörn Watzke, senior director Garmin Health global sales said: “As we continue to see rapid business development in Asia, Bangkok is the ideal location to bring together a global cohort of executives, entrepreneurs and industry media to experience innovative solutions and expert presentations. From unveiling a historic research opportunity with King’s College London to networking on the New York Stock Exchange trading floor during our evening reception kickoff, last year’s Garmin Health Summit and Awards underscored how this event has evolved since 2019.”

Finalists present their digital health applications to two panels at the summit, one consisting of attendees and the other of industry professionals. The awards program concludes with winners announced that evening, each receiving Garmin smartwatches and devices worth up to $10,000.

To qualify for the 2026 Garmin Health Awards, solutions should be deployed and in active use, and incorporate Garmin smartwatches, fitness trackers, or smart scales. Submissions must also align with the Garmin Health division’s focus areas:

  • Health Care & Research: University-level research, clinical trials, patient monitoring, digital therapeutics, rehabilitation, and prevention related health care and research initiatives
  • Insurance & Employee Health: Insurance or reinsurance programs, underwriting, Biological Age Model (BAM), customer loyalty, worker safety, driver safety, or other insurance or corporate wellness-related initiatives
  • Fitness & Wellness: Fitness, well-being platforms or other activity-based solutions

Applications will be accepted from April 14 through May 8. Submission criteria include customer benefit, scalability, uniqueness, technical approach, and performance. Finalists will be notified in June and invited to present their solutions at the 2026 Garmin Health Summit in Bangkok.
