SCALINX has joined GlobalFoundries (GF) GlobalSolutions partner portal to give chip developers access to its mixed-signal ASIC design services and data converter IP on GF’s 40nm and FDX process technologies. The collaboration brings SCALINX’s SCCORE-based ADC and DAC technologies into GF’s manufacturing network for multichannel transceiver SoCs used in defense, aerospace, wireless infrastructure and industrial systems.
The partner portal listing gives customers access to SCALINX offerings for mixed-signal system-on-chip (SoC) design and manufacturing. These include ASIC design services built around silicon IP for GF’s low-power 40nm and FDX technologies.
SCALINX is also expanding its FDX silicon IP portfolio with new data converter cores, including a 14‑bit, 4 GS/s ADC and a 14‑bit, 8 GS/s DAC.
The IP cores combine GF’s FDX process technology with SCALINX’s SCCORE architecture. The design supports wideband signal processing and low-power operation in mixed-signal SoCs.
SCALINX plans to use GF’s manufacturing footprint across Europe, the U.S. and Asia to support mixed-signal SoC delivery. The collaboration also supports sovereign and secure semiconductor supply for Europe’s aerospace and defense sector.
