TEL AVIV, Israel, July 2, 2026 – Innoviz Technologies’s LiDAR products will be evaluated for counter-drone systems that need to locate low-altitude aerial threats. Givon Defense is testing the sensors as part of counter-UAS work focused on precision localization and situational awareness.
The collaboration combines Givon Defense’s counter-UAS work with Innoviz’s LiDAR capabilities. Givon Defense has been evaluating multiple sensing approaches for drone defense, where location tracking is a technical challenge. Both the companies will explore how LiDAR data can support tracking and response workflows in operational environments.
