
NEW YORK, NY and NOIDA, India, August 6, 2026 – HCLTech has purchased Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Telco Solutions business, adding software and integration services for operational support systems, home subscriber servers and 5G subscriber data management. The acquisition also adds nearly 1,400 engineering and telecom specialists in 39 countries.
The transaction follows HCLTech’s 2024 integration of HPE’s Communications Technology Group (CTG) business. The combined portfolio covers network modernization, network virtualization, multi-cloud, edge and data center networking, Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), private 5G, and network operations from radio access through core networks.
Key elements of the transaction include:
- HCLTech’s communications service provider footprint covers North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, including Japan.
- The acquired portfolio includes intellectual property, solutions and integration services for operational support systems (OSS), home subscriber server (HSS) and 5G subscriber data management (SDM). HCLTech also cited customer experience software, telecom network functions and virtualization, media and video, industrial IoT, data intelligence, business support systems (BSS), service management and orchestration (SMO), digital twin technology, AI applications for radio networks and eSIM capabilities.
- The acquisition adds nearly 1,400 engineering and telecom specialists in 39 countries. The workforce includes delivery teams in Japan, Spain, Romania, Italy, India and LATAM.
