NEW YORK, NY and NOIDA, India, Aug 17, 2026 – HCLTech has expanded its collaboration with NetApp to offer hybrid cloud storage-as-a-service (STaaS) for scaling AI and data-driven workloads. The solution runs on a consumption-based model that supports AI and GenAI applications alongside traditional enterprise systems.
The service integrates HCLTech’s Utility for Everything (U4X) framework with NetApp Keystone, NetApp’s pay-as-you-go storage service. Customers scale storage, performance, and data services on demand. AI development, deployment, and operations run through HCLTech’s AI Factory suite.
The consumption-led operating model lets organizations align infrastructure with evolving workload requirements and run workloads where data resides, while supporting data governance.
The offering builds on earlier HCLTech-NetApp deployments. For example, A global food and beverage company reduced upfront investment and added operational flexibility with a consumption-based model. Again, an European telecommunications provider improved scalability and resilience across distributed environments while meeting regulatory requirements.
