MUNICH, Germany; OSLO, Norway; WELLINGTON, New Zealand; and SYDNEY, Australia, Oct 29, 2025 – Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) has selected dRofus to streamline healthcare infrastructure projects nationwide. The agreement will help standardize facility planning, design, and data integration across hospitals and clinics, creating a unified digital framework for project delivery. By adopting dRofus, Health New Zealand aims to improve efficiency in healthcare facility development.

With this agreement, Health New Zealand will leverage dRofus to apply national healthcare facility standards and improve project delivery. The platform will also support budgeting and procurement for medical equipment and FF&E. It will also contribute to the organization’s Asset Management Information System (AMIS) program.

“Health New Zealand is building a foundation for long-term excellence in healthcare infrastructure,” said Sunil Pandita, chief division officer, planning & design and digital twin business unit at the Nemetschek Group. “This national agreement reflects their commitment to innovation and standardization, and we are honored that dRofus will play a central role in supporting their goals.”

“This is a major step for Health New Zealand,” said Margo Kyle, GM national health facility planning. “Our goal is to ensure consistent, high-quality healthcare environments across the country. dRofus offers the robust data and planning tools we need to deliver this vision, from early planning to construction and beyond.”

The agreement will support two projects and deploy in stages. Over time, Health New Zealand plans to utilize dRofus in all healthcare facility projects across New Zealand. This forms part of its digital planning and asset management system.

“Working with Health New Zealand is a significant validation of the capabilities and flexibility of dRofus,” said Chris Razzell, managing director of dRofus. “We are thrilled to support their ambitious goals and help establish best-in-class data and project delivery standards that will benefit all stakeholders in the New Zealand healthcare system.”
