PALO ALTO, CA, Dec 18, 2025 – Hesai Technology has partnered with Gausium to supply JT series 3D lidar sensors for its commercial cleaning robots. Under the agreement, the sensors will be deployed across Gausium’s products.

Hesai’s JT series mini 3D lidars will equip Gausium’s cleaning robots across indoor environments. The sensors deliver a 360-degree field of view and cover more than 10,000 square meters per frame. The 3D sensing capability supports spatial positioning and navigation. It identifies small obstacles, such as chair and table legs, to improve path planning. The design supports consistent operation in dynamic spaces, including warehouses, factories, and shopping malls.

The JT series lidar provides industrial cleaning operations in low-light and high-traffic conditions. The sensor includes lens-contamination detection that flags mud, rain, or obstructions on the lidar cover. When detected, robots can alert operators or return to base for cleaning. This approach supports reliable system operation over time. Cumulative deliveries of the JT series surpassed 200,000 units as of November 2025.
