
Heven AeroTech has appointed Samantha Hamilton as vice president of artificial intelligence (AI) to lead AI strategy across its unmanned aircraft system platforms. Hamilton will focus on the expansion of AI capabilities and strengthen system-level integration across the company’s autonomous aircraft portfolio.
Hamilton brings more than 10 years of experience delivering AI/ML software for defense, intelligence and national security programs. She spent more than four years at BigBear.ai, recently serving as director of delivery. Earlier in her career, she worked as a data scientist and data analytics developer at NuWave Solutions.
Hamilton also worked as a research assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Kann Bioinformatics Lab and at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center. She holds a Project Management Professional certification.
