STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec 16, 2025 – Hexagon AB has acquired IconPro, a Germany-based provider of industrial AI software. IconPro develops AI tools used for asset maintenance and industrial operations.
Apollo, developed by IconPro, is maintenance software that remotely monitors machine operation, condition, and events. Hexagon plans to integrate the software with its metrology systems, including coordinate measuring machines. The integration is intended to support predictive maintenance and reduce unplanned equipment downtime, improving equipment availability and production efficiency.
Integrating IconPro’s technology will enable Hexagon to add AI-based analytics across its global installed systems. The rollout will begin with stationary metrology products in Hexagon’s manufacturing intelligence business.
