Hexagon Appoints Anders Svensson as President and CEO

A leadership transition is underway during a strategic phase of growth. The new leader brings international experience and will prioritize development in autonomy, robotics, AI, and digital twin technologies.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 21, 2025 – Hexagon has announced that Anders Svensson has assumed the role of president and CEO.

Anders Svensson succeeds Norbert Hanke, who has served as interim president and CEO since November 2024. Norbert will take on the role of group executive vice president where he will assume responsibility for people and culture at a group level and lead ventures and other strategic projects. He will continue reporting to Hexagon’s president and CEO and will be an integral part of Hexagon’s executive management team.

Svensson has more than 15 years of international leadership experience in industrial technology and engineering. He is recognized for building collaborative teams in global organizations. Before joining Hexagon, he served as CEO and president at Konecranes.
