Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has released a middleware platform that connects manufacturing software, enterprise business systems, industrial equipment and cloud applications. Hexagon Connected Worker Integration links those systems into one digital ecosystem without any custom code, and supports a range of communication protocols, APIs, databases and industrial standards.
The platform acts as a central integration layer among enterprise applications, operational technology (OT), cloud platforms and industrial devices, and lets manufacturers set up data exchange, workflows and real-time production visibility.

Accelerating Connected Manufacturing
Connected Worker Integration works as an alternative to custom point-to-point integrations, allowing event-driven workflows. It removes data silos between IT/OT systems, reduces manual data entry, and scales connectivity from edge devices to enterprise systems.
Within Hexagon’s manufacturing software portfolio, the platform integrates with RADAN, allowing automatic exchange of quoting, nesting, routing and production data with ERP and MES systems. Connected Worker also connects to Q-DAS statistical process control software, which can trigger automated workflows when process conditions fall outside defined limits.
