Hinen Launches H2.4S Balcony Energy System – Smart, Scalable, and DIY-Friendly for Every Home

DONGGUAN, China, July 24, 2025 – Hinen has launched the E Series H2.4S 2400W single-phase balcony energy system, for residential setups. Released in July’25, the system is designed for urban households where space is limited but demand for solar self-consumption is growing. Its plug-and-play format reduces installation time and enables deployment across various building types. Backed by 400 R&D engineers, over 150 patents, and $20 million in research investment, Hinen Group reflects a push toward scalable energy storage solutions for everyday use.

The H2.4S is designed for setup with a plug-and-play installation that takes about two minutes and does not require an electrician. It includes an internal heat sink for passive cooling and can be mounted on a wall to save space and maintain reliability in outdoor environments.

The system supports modular battery expansion from 1 to 6 packs, providing storage capacity from 2.56 kWh to 15.36 kWh. Users can adjust the system size to match current needs or plan for future expansion as energy consumption and budgets change.

The H2.4S includes four independent MPPT inputs and supports up to 3,600 W of PV input. This allows users to connect different types and orientations of solar panels, improving energy generation in areas with limited or shaded balcony space.

The H2.4S measures 160 mm thick, has an IP65 weatherproof rating, and operates at 30dB. These features suit balcony installation by protecting the system and minimizing noise. It uses a LiFePO4 battery rated for over 8,000 charge cycles and comes with a 10-year warranty, supporting for home energy storage.

Users can monitor and manage energy through mobile APP, which offers multiple operation modes and control functions. The system also supports smart plug integration, allowing users to automate appliances and track usage.

The H2.4S includes a built-in heating film that enables safe charging at temperatures as low as -20°C, supporting reliable performance in cold climates, like the winters in Sweden or Finland. It is compatible with various PV panel types, giving users flexibility when choosing system components.

The system provides up to 2000W of off-grid output, supporting use as an emergency backup or for light off-grid applications. It connects to wireless smart meters using LoRa communication, eliminating the need for wiring. Features such as extended range, strong wall penetration, response time under 500 ms, and power consumption below 10W support remote data transmission and energy management.

Over the past 12 months, Hinen has reached a top-five position in the Australian energy storage market, holding an 8% share. The company is also expanding in Europe and Africa. Through distributor partnerships Hinen aims to deliver clean, smart energy solutions to global households.
