
SEOUL, South Korea, Dec 5, 2025 – Hyundai Motor Group and Air Liquide expanded their partnership to support the global hydrogen ecosystem. The companies renewed their memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Hydrogen Council CEO Summit in Seoul to advance hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and use.
The partnership will focus on expanding hydrogen use in Europe, Korea, and the United States, with emphasis on heavy-duty transport, logistics, and public transit. Air Liquide and Hyundai will combine their capabilities to support a sustainable energy landscape and future carbon-reduction goals.

Building a Global Hydrogen Ecosystem
- Infrastructure Expansion: Developing hydrogen refueling networks and storage capacity.
- Reliable Supply Chain Development: Establishing a hydrogen ecosystem covering low carbon and renewable production, transportation, distribution, and utilization across mobility and other key sectors. A core element is also the acceleration of innovation in hydrogen technologies.
- Hydrogen Mobility Deployment: Commercializing fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) for logistics fleets, public buses and port operations.
