IFS has launched IFS Zero to help asset-intensive companies calculate, verify and report carbon emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 categories. The agentic emissions operating system maps data sources, validates records, flags anomalies and produces audit-ready outputs for teams managing complex emissions reporting.
IFS Zero was developed through consultation with IFS customers in asset-intensive sectors. IFS Zero works with the IFS Sustainability Management module, which brings together sustainability data for corporate reporting, including emissions, social impact, diversity metrics and related disclosures. While the broader module supports enterprise sustainability reporting, IFS Zero focuses on carbon emissions management.
The software applies agentic AI across the emissions data lifecycle. It maps sources, validates information, identifies anomalies and prepares audit-ready outputs. IFS said the solution can create an audit-ready baseline in weeks, save operational hours annually and reduce data collection effort by 30%.
Caitlin Keam, VP manufacturing and sustainability applications, at IFS: “With IFS Zero, we’re fundamentally changing how industrial companies approach emissions management. For too long, sustainability has meant slow deployments, manual spreadsheets, and reporting after the fact. IFS Zero replaces that with an agentic operating system that delivers an emissions baseline in short timescales and enables visibility into your day-to-day operations. It allows customers to move beyond compliance and start using sustainability as a true strategic advantage.”
IFS Zero launches alongside IFS Cloud 26R1. IFS Cloud 26R1 adds updates across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management and Aviation Maintenance, with control and traceability across IFS products.
