IMAGINiT Technologies has launched Clarity 2027 with AI chatbot task launching, batch and Python automation, and Revit-based model health reporting for AEC teams. The release connects Autodesk project workflows with task execution and model checks, while maintaining compatibility with the latest versions of Revit, Revit Server, AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Revit support covers the last five releases.
“Increasing project complexity, the need to explore and incorporate AI and finding ways to manage the exploding volumes of data all while having to work more efficiently, are challenges our customers face,” said Bill Zavadil, president and chief operating officer of IMAGINiT Technologies. “By scaling automation in a way that is predictable, efficient and sustainable across the organization, they are able to extract greater value from existing tools. And that’s why we’re continuing to expand Clarity with new AI-driven capabilities to support more flexible, automated and efficient ways of working.”
Clarity 2027 adds a new MCP connector to the Clarity API, allowing users to launch Revit tasks and query data through AI chatbots. The release also adds batch and Python script execution, along with the ability to display model health metrics inside Revit.
IMAGINiT said Clarity saves AEC firms an average of more than 200 hours per project per year. The top 25% of Clarity users save between 10 and 55 hours per project per month through workflow automation and task management.
Key Highlights in Clarity 2027
- Clarity MCP (AI Chatbot Task Launching): The new AI-interaction connector links AI chatbots to the Clarity API. Users can launch Revit tasks and query data from any device without being inside Clarity or Revit.
- Executable Batch Python Task Runner: Teams can run and manage batch files and Python scripts within Clarity. The tool shows task status, outputs and results, helping teams monitor automation and troubleshoot issues.
- Bring Your Own App for Autodesk Secure Service Accounts: Organizations can use their own credentials for Autodesk API connections. This gives teams greater control over API interactions, improves reliability and supports transactions and reducing shared rate-limit risks.
- Enhanced Unified Sync Performance and Filtering: The update supports faster file transfers and filtering. Teams can exclude unnecessary files, reduce API calls and limit data movement for better system performance.
- Streamlined Service Pack Delivery: Users can install once and receive ongoing updates through service packs without repeated installs. This reduces administrative work and gives teams access to new capabilities.
- Publish Metrics to Revit: Administrators can display firm-defined standards inside Autodesk Revit. Users can view real-time metric status inside the model and address issues without leaving their workflow.
Clarity 2027 helps AEC teams manage project workflows through task automation, model-level metrics and controlled data movement. The release also supports firms handling workloads across Autodesk projects and maintaining system performance.
