SANTA CLARA and SUNNYVALE, CA, July 22, 2026 – Intel and Fortinet are teaming up to develop Fortinet Security Processor 6 (SP6). The collaboration combines Fortinet’s security processor design expertise with Intel’s design, packaging and manufacturing capabilities to speed development of the SP6 chip, and to strengthen the resilience and diversity of Fortinet’s global supply chain.
