PORTLAND, OR, Dec 12, 2025 – The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) released IntelliCAD 14.1, adding stability improvements, performance gains and new features to the IntelliCAD 14 platform.
IntelliCAD 14.1 adds the ability to export and print geospatial PDFs, allowing users to include coordinate system data from their drawings. Supported PDF viewers can display live coordinates and measurements when reviewing designs. The GEO map feature supports Microsoft Azure Maps. Exporting raster images to PDF has also been improved.
The update adds a block test window for advanced blocks, allowing users to check grips and behavior without leaving the Block Editor. Tool Palettes support images, leaders and external references. Users gain a Selection Cycling toggle on the status bar, improved undo/redo functionality, and several usability updates when working with tables.
IntelliCAD 14.1 adds support for compiled and protected LISP applications in FAS and VLX formats and updates the LISP and IcARX development tools. The release gives BIM users more control over how openings interact with walls and improves IFC import. It also delivers targeted enhancements to native DGN export, printing and hatching.
IntelliCAD 14.1 includes fixes that improve reliability in drafting, printing, snapping, external references and tables.
Shawn Lindsay, president of the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium, stated: “Following soon after IntelliCAD World 2025 this fall, IntelliCAD 14.1 continues our technical focus on stability, performance, and targeted improvements driven directly by member feedback. The release introduces useful new features like geospatial PDF creation and an improved block editor, along with incremental fixes in core areas such as LISP, BIM, and DGN. The result is a solid platform that members rely on for expanding their products.”
IntelliCAD 14.1 supports 64-bit versions of Windows 11, Windows 10 and Windows 8. The IntelliCAD Mobile Viewer is available for Windows desktop and Google Android.

About IntelliCAD Technology Consortium

The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC), founded in 1999 and based in Portland, OR, is a member-driven nonprofit that develops and licenses the IntelliCAD CAD engine and development platform. The consortium provides a DWG-compatible 2D/3D CAD core to its commercial members, who build and distribute CAD solutions for industries such as architecture, engineering, civil surveying, manufacturing, and automation. Operating under a cooperative model, ITC pools R&D efforts among its members and reinvests over 75% of its revenue into core development. The platform supports millions of end users across more than 130 countries. ITC members receive access to source code, development APIs, technical support, and participate in governance, enabling them to create vertical solutions without developing a CAD engine from scratch. From its headquarters, the ITC supports independent developers in delivering cost-effective and interoperable CAD technologies worldwide.
