SAN JOSE, CA and TAIPEI, Taiwan, Mar 27, 2026 – Jmem Tek has joined the GlobalFoundries GlobalSolutions ecosystem as an IP network partner. Jmem Tek will supply Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) security IP solutions to GlobalFoundries customers and partners worldwide.

Through this partnership, GlobalFoundries (GF) customers will access:

  • Silicon-proven PUF IP for hardware root of trust, secure key generation, and anti-counterfeiting
  • Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) accelerators aligned with NIST standards
  • Side-channel attack mitigation technologies to harden cryptographic operations against power, timing, and EM leakage
  • Integration support across GlobalFoundries’ platforms
  • Scalable security architectures for SoCs, chiplets, and edge devices

Jmem Tek will supply hardware security IP to customers designing on GlobalFoundries process technologies through the GlobalSolutions ecosystem. The IP supports secure semiconductor design across AI infrastructure, data centers, automotive, industrial, aerospace and government applications.

Jmem Tek develops silicon-level identity and quantum-resilient cryptography technologies. Its JPUF technology derives unique device identities from semiconductor properties, eliminating stored keys and reducing system attack surfaces.

Jmem Tek’s JPUF architecture aligns with ISO/IEC 20897-1, requiring generation of volatile secrets on demand without storing persistent keys. The design enables read-on-demand silicon identity at the device level. The company’s PQC IP portfolio includes NIST-standardized, CAVP-certified post-quantum algorithms. These algorithms address security risks from emerging quantum computing systems.

“Security must begin in silicon,” said John Chang, CEO of Jmem Tek. “By joining GlobalFoundries’ GlobalSolutions Ecosystem as an IP Network Partner, we are making it easier for customers to integrate hardware-rooted identity and quantum-resilient cryptography directly into their designs. As AI systems scale and infrastructure lifecycles extend, quantum-ready security is no longer optional, it is foundational.”

“Security and reliability are fundamental requirements for critical applications built on GlobalFoundries’ differentiated platforms,” said Jonathan Park, director of IP strategy & offerings at GlobalFoundries. “Bringing Jmem Tek’s JPUF technology into the GlobalSolutions Ecosystem strengthens our ability to provide customers with true hardware-rooted security options, enabling secure device identity, trusted key generation, and scalable root-of-trust architectures for next-generation systems.”
