Kraton Appoints Sangwoo Ryu as CEO

Ryu brings 25 years of finance and operations leadership experience

HOUSTON, TX, Feb 13, 2026 – Kraton Corporation has appointed Sangwoo Ryu as chief executive officer (CEO), bringing more than 25 years of finance and operations leadership experience. Ryu has led financial strategy, investment controls, and operational planning across international markets. Kraton said his background supports its position in the global Pine Chemical and Polymers markets.

Sangwoo Ryu currently serves as CEO of Cariflex Pte Ltd, a former Kraton business now owned by DL Chemical. He joined Cariflex in Feb’20, before its acquisition by DL Chemical, and initially served as chief financial officer. In April’25, he became CEO of Cariflex after Prakash Kolluri became president of Kraton’s Polymer business. Ryu will work with leadership at Kraton and Cariflex to support operational decisions and growth across both organizations.
