FOUNTAIN INN, SC, June 30, 2026 – KYOCERA AVX has released a web-based RF engineering tool that selects antennas and PCB placement positions from board size, antenna count, frequency bands and design priorities. Antenna Integrator Studio returns antenna options, placement data, performance charts, DXF files and 3D files for RF engineers working on connected electronics.

The tool is designed for electronic products that use wireless connectivity in consumer electronics, automotive, medical, IIoT, telecommunications and high-speed networking applications. Antenna selection and PCB positioning affect signal attenuation, impedance matching, wireless range and battery drain, especially in products with performance, space and environmental limits.

Antenna Integrator Studio asks users to enter PCB size, antenna count and target frequency bands. Users then choose an optimization priority, either maximizing efficiency or minimizing cost, before clicking “Analyze.” The tool then returns antenna options and placement positions for the PCB layout. Engineers can review performance charts covering efficiency, return loss, peak gain and radiation patterns across frequency bands.

The workflow also supports DXF and 3D file downloads for PCB design. Users can order samples, begin prototyping and view a four-minute video that walks through the tool.

The first version of KYOCERA AVX Antenna Integrator Studio includes thousands of simulations of board-mounted embedded antennas. Future versions will add features and antenna technologies.

“Our new Antenna Integrator Studio is a powerful online tool designed to help RF engineers make smarter, faster, data-driven decisions during the antenna selection and layout process and deliver higher-quality, higher-performance wireless products,” said Carmen Redondo, director of global marketing – Antennas at KYOCERA AVX. “Competing solutions often require engineers to manually select and place antennas on their digital board layout to evaluate results. The Antenna Integrator Studio eliminates that guesswork – saving valuable time – and makes it quick and easy for engineers to optimize their designs for performance or cost effectiveness and evaluate simulated performance, which helps accelerate go-to-market timelines.”
